It’s not the lack of resources that stops you, it’s the lack of resourcefulness.
— Anthony Robbins

Embodied TRANSFORMATIONAL CounselING

The body-centered focus integrates research-based, somatically designed tools and practices into more traditional psychotherapy orientations.

  • Wholeness means experiencing all of ourselves. Healing means accessing and expressing all levels of consciousness while cultivating and embodying expanded levels.

  • We are the source of our experience. Every moment of our experience is a reflection of the state we’re inhabiting. In other words, we create from our state.

  • Emotions are the master link between our consciousness and the world.

  • Becoming conscious means becoming capable of choosing instead of reacting.

  • Getting triggered is our road to freedom: freedom from being trapped in old, dense energies, and freedom to behave in new ways.

  • As relationships reliably trigger us, they are our path to healing and possibility.

  • Reactive Brain (RB) and Creative Brain (CB) are two discrete entities. Understanding the function of each (Reactive Brain is all about our survival, while Creative Brain allows for and generates thriving) supports optimal functioning and allows space for choice.

  • Reactive Brain triggers hierarchy, while Creative Brain generates Co-creativity. Hierarchy is efficient and fast, but disables us cognitively and disconnects us from ourselves and each other; co-creativity is a relaxed response that leads to connection and supports innovation.

  • When in Reactive Brain, we’re accessing rigid emotional states (aka “personas”). When in Creative Brain, we’re accessing fluid, flexible, creative states

  • All conflict comes from Reactive Brain. All conflict can be resolved by shifting to Creative Brain.

  • The ability to NOTICE OUR STATE and then SHIFT IT is key to all of this work, specifically noticing when we’re in Reactive Brain and having the skills to shift into Creative Brain.
